As a client, what makes the biggest difference to you during a real estate transaction? Pricing? Location? Photos and video? Or is it your agent’s market knowledge? Trustworthiness? Negotiation skills? Wildlife expertise? Years of experience?

The truth is ALL of these have an impact. But how do you know your agent can leverage the maximum number of these factors to make your experience positive? For me, it’s teamwork. But I didn’t start out with that mindset.

After selling several million dollars in volume, I faced the reality I can’t meet 100% of every client’s needs by myself. I am just one man. Hard working and honest, as my faith demands. I have decades of sales experience. I am an avid hunter. And for a long time, I tried to manage everything on my own.

As I searched for opportunities to grow professionally, I asked myself: When working with multiple parties, how do I ensure all parties feel equally represented? And how do I build enough trust from a stranger to be hired or to list someone’s property?

Then one night, I looked across the living room and it hit me! A TEAM! I needed a team to bring different perspectives to my business. Fortunately, the immediate solution was close to home: my spouse, Marla. She is bright and energetic. She has a degree in marketing. She loves people. And she is my best friend!

So here we are. Working together for the past three years. Because as a team we better understand client needs and can work toward meeting them.
