Darren Sweet is a land broker based in Taylorsville, NC, specializing in properties across the foothills and mountains he’s called home his entire life. With a Mechanical Engineering degree from Western Carolina University (Magna Cum Laude) and nearly a decade of engineering experience, Darren brings a datadriven, analytical approach to helping clients make confident, lowrisk decisions.
His passion for land began when he purchased the family farm he grew up on, sparking a career built on honesty, local expertise, and a genuine love for being outdoors. Darren joined America’s Land Partners because it allows him to serve clients while honoring his faith, values, and ethics.
Outside of work, Darren enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending summer weekends on Lake Hickory with his wife, Lauren, and their children, Garrison and Sutton. He also coaches teeball and lives by his favorite motto: “God put us on the planet to help each other, so get to work!”
