Warren Peters brings over four decades of expertise in forest management and forestry consulting, having launched PETERS Forest Resources, Inc. in 1996 after beginning his career in 1981. His work spans timber inventories, forest management, timberland appraisals, timber sale administration, and market analysis for clients navigating the sale or acquisition of timber and timberland assets.
Throughout his career, Warren has directly managed approximately 70,000 acres of timberland across Louisiana and Mississippi, with additional involvement in the oversight of more than 200,000 acres. As a seasoned appraiser, he specializes in rural properties, from small recreational tracts to expansive timberland investments, and has completed appraisals on over 5 million acres throughout the southeastern United States, including individual tracts ranging from a few acres to more than 500,000.
In his role as a licensed real estate broker and salesperson, Warren has facilitated transactions for timberland and recreational properties of all sizes, including parcels exceeding 30,000 acres. His client base includes private landowners, forest industry professionals, government agencies, investors, and legal advisors.
Warren holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Louisiana State University and maintains professional credentials as a Registered Forester, a licensed RealEstate Broker in Louisiana and Mississippi, and a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Louisian, and Mississippi. He is also a proud member of the Association of Consulting Foresters (ACF).
