Lewis Peters joined America’s Land Partners in 2025, bringing a legacy of land stewardship and a deep-rooted passion for the outdoors. As a third-generation forester, Lewis also serves full-time as a Consulting Forester with his family’s firm, PETERS Forest Resources, Inc., a tradition carried on from his father, Warren Peters, and his late grandfather, Lewis.
Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Lewis graduated from Parkview Baptist High School in 2011 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geology and Earth Systems from Millsaps College in 2015. He began his career as a staff geologist in Jackson, Mississippi, but soon felt the call of home and the woods. Returning to Louisiana, he pursued graduate studies at LSU, earning a Master’s in Natural Sciences with a focus on Forestry and Forest Products in 2019.
Lewis’s connection to rural land runs deep. An avid outdoorsman since childhood, he’s spent countless hours hunting and fishing across Louisiana, from deer stands in West Feliciana Parish to duck blinds in the southern marshes and saltwater fishing trips out of Port Fourchon. His love for the outdoors also extended to competitive golf, where he played throughout school and earned an NCAA tournament title during his college career at Millsaps.
With hands-on experience in timberland management, recreational hunting, and rural land use, Lewis is uniquely equipped to help clients find their ideal property, whether for investment, recreation, or legacy. His knowledge, integrity, and lifelong connection to the land make him a trusted guide in every transaction.
